We have part designed a unique platform with Samsara to allow us to plan, optimise, and track all our assets across the entire country, share real-time location data with our customers, increase safety in our driver and transport team, move to a completely digital platform (ALS) when handling our customer’s goods from collection point to delivery point.
Route Planning & Adherence
ALS believe in working smarter. Our system is used to pass the driver’s routes to their digital in-cab interface, which tracks your goods from collection to delivery. Our system can be shared with all customers and alert you automatically with real-time location data and ETA’s to allow you to manage your time and staff better from a delivery standpoint.
In Cab Devices & Customised Driver App
Using our Transport Platform, ALS have a custom build our unique driver application to work with our business.
Compliance – Drivers are given real-time updates to working time availability ensuring our drivers remain safe and compliant at all times.
Walk-around Checks – Using their devices, our drivers document the entire driver precheck process (with photos) from start to finish ensuring roadworthiness standards are met, and loads are secured.
Routing – Our planning team set our deliveries up using a combination of eco-efficiency routing along with time requirements and adherence. The driver is presented with route mapping and real-time traffic updates, along with his expected arrival times for each delivery.
Proof Of Delivery – The driver on arrival records temperatures of fridges (if applicable) along with the condition of loads giving our customers the confidence there products arrive on time and intact, reducing claims and along with the ability to scan POD instant notification of delivery and paperwork to prove acceptance.
Communication & Risk Assessments – Road, Employee, and Public Safety is at the heart of everything we do at ALS. Our drivers can report any safety concerns directly from the device when at collection or delivery points, enabling us to raise and action any safety concerns we have immediately and work with our customers to increase safety.
Live Tracking (Customers) – Our platform allows us to share real-time tracking data along with itineraries to our customers, the location, along with its ETA to the delivery point, streamlining your warehouse team duties and driving efficiency into both operations.
